When used on enterance doors to dwellings above ground level, the Rollerbolt will prevent accidental lock-out and meets reommendations of BS 5588-1. The roller bolt variant operates with a simple push/pull action. The roller bolt may be locked or withdrawn by key outside and handle inside.
Extended length operating lever and chunky sliding snib for easy operation. Tactile, visually contrasting red rubber grips on operating surfaces. Large, red UNION key bow cover enables easier external access. One cover supplied with standard differ variant only. For timber doors from 35 to 60mm thick, hinged on the left or right and opening inwards only. Suitable for steel and composite doors - special fixings required. NOT suitable for outward opening or glass panelled doors.
