When ordering multiple Keyed Alike locks, only 1 set of keys are provided as all additional locks are made to work from that key.

If ordering 4 or more keyed alike locks you can have them set up as different groups. If Required: Let us know the details in the "Specific Key Requirements" field above.

Latch & Deadbolt

The Fuhr 856 Type 6 Lever Operated Multipoint Lock is a lever-operated multisafe 856 lock with two hooks and two rollers, a central latch and a separately secured deadbolt. Available with a 35mm backset.

Locking: lift the handle to engage the secondary locking points, then turn the cylinder key to extend the central deadbolt. To open, retract the deadbolt with the key before lowering the handle to release the secondary points. This is manual lever operation, not automatic locking when the door closes.

The normal 856 lever arrangement operates the latch from either side while the central deadbolt is unlocked. It is not the key-only outside latch function of the 859 split-spindle lock.

Replacement fit: compare the exact supplied reference, backset, PZ centres, faceplate, case routing, locking-point positions and matching frame keeps. A shared brand or PZ measurement is not a direct-replacement guarantee. The stored manual explains operation and installation precautions; it is not an exact-part dimensioned drawing.

Optional shootbolts: use only the extensions and frame keeps specified for the actual M6B6507S connection and door height. Shootbolt provision does not mean extensions are included or that every FUHR extension fits.
