The 83CS/50 padlock with a lock body width of 50 millimetres and with interchangeable cylinder and shackle is equipped with a shackle guard. This offers greater resistance to attempts to break it open with bolt cutters and other tools.

Thanks to its interchangeable cylinder, the Eighty Three 83CS/50 allows you to create keyed-alike solutions. So you only need one key for several tool cabinets in the shed or for the switchgear in the factory. The padlock can be combined keyed alike with various ABUS door cylinders. The shackle can also be easily and quickly exchanged for another one – depending on requirements.

Both the shackle and the additional chrome-plated brass body protect against the development of rust. In addition, a cylinder protection cap, which shields the cylinder from moisture and dust, is available separately.

The Eighty Three gives you the choice: would you like the variant with key retaining, where the key is needed for locking? In contrast, with automatic locking, the shackle only has to be pressed into the lock body. The Eighty Three makes security flexible.
