Overview

The EVVA ICS key is unique for every cylinder, and each code can be individually restricted to prevent unauthorised duplication. Using a track-cut key, ICS provides a smooth operation during insertion and removal, unlike dimple keys.

ICS combines multiple locking technologies to offer the highest levels of protection. Its time-tested curve system, durable length profile, and distinctive track system with internal recesses create an outstanding solution for both end-users and security professionals.

Picking and scanning protection

Split and non-split scanning elements prevent the detection of scanning positions. The ICS cylinder is nearly impossible to open with lock-picking tools. Hidden gates on the locking pins further prevent the cylinder from being scanned.

Drilling protection

Chrome-vanadium elements within the ICS cylinder protect it from unauthorised opening methods. Additional security components provide high resistance to drilling attacks.

Plug pulling protection

The chrome-vanadium pins in the cylinder plug, along with the steel rod in the modular design (SYMO), offer robust protection against plug pulling.

No, this cylinder features a fully restricted key section. Key duplication is strictly controlled and only available through the Lockshop Warehouse. The patented key design is protected until 2038, ensuring unauthorized copies cannot be made at standard high-street shops.

The EVVA ICS 3-star Kitemarked cylinder is designed to withstand the most common forced entry methods. It includes:

  • Picking and scanning protection using split and non-split scanning elements.
  • High-resistance drilling protection via chrome-vanadium internal components.
  • Plug pulling protection using a robust modular design with integrated steel rods.

The ICS uses a unique track-cut key system with internal recesses. Unlike many high-security dimple keys that can feel rough or difficult to insert, the track-cut design ensures exceptionally smooth operation during insertion and removal, which also helps extend the lifespan of the cylinder.

If you order cylinders that are 'keyed differ' (each lock has its own unique key), you will receive 2 keys per cylinder. If you order multiple cylinders 'keyed alike' (all locks work with the same key), you will receive a total of 2 keys for the entire set.

The EVVA ICS Key Cut to Code is a high-security replacement or additional key designed specifically for the EVVA Internal Code System (ICS). This system utilises a combination of different locking technologies, including a concealed internal track, to provide a high level of protection against unauthorised duplication and picking.

Manufactured from a robust nickel silver alloy, these keys are 3mm thick, ensuring they withstand the rigours of daily use while resisting bending and wear. The reversible design allows the key to be inserted into the cylinder in either orientation, improving user convenience and reducing wear on the internal components of the lock. The specially shaped tip assists with smooth insertion, even in low-light conditions.

Classroom Function (One-Way Thumbturn)

Only suitable for the EVVA ICS Range - Add this product to each cylinder ordered if required.

The Classroom Function restricts the thumbturn to rotate in only one direction (reversible upon request), allowing the door to be unlocked from the inside, but not locked—a key safety feature in emergency situations.

  • Available on key & turn cylinders only

  • Supplied with SOSE (Special Order Side Engagement) as standard

  • Prevents internal locking, ensuring doors can always be opened from the inside

  • Ideal for classrooms and similar environments where internal locking must be avoided for safety

The SSW All Weather Cover provides reliable protection for cylinders exposed to harsh outdoor conditions.

  • Features spring-loaded shutter plates that automatically open when a key is inserted and close when removed

  • Permanently mounted on the external side of the cylinder

  • Shields against water, dust, mud, and debris, preventing contaminants from entering the keyway
