This is the most important point to get right so you don't leave your home vulnerable to attack. The best way to get the correct size is to remove the cylinder from the door. (see the help page for instructions to do this). Once you have the cylinder out the door you need to measure from one side of the cylinder to the center of the fixing screw hole and then the same from the other side. Make a note of which is the inside measurement and which is the outside. Once you have this you need to match the size to the sizes available online. You want to get this as exact as possible. The cylinder sizes go up in increments of 5mm.

How to remove and measure your Euro Cylinders

This replacement key is specifically designed for the Union 3R35 high-security detainer lock series. Please note that while the category may list it under cylinder keys, the 3R35 is a specialist detainer mortice lock and this key will not fit standard Euro cylinder or domestic lever locks.

The 3R35 lock was originally a flagship product of the Chubb brand. Following Union's acquisition of Chubb's lock business, these products are now sold under the Union name, but genuine replacement keys often retain the original Chubb branding for historical consistency and authenticity.

Because these are high-security keys, they are cut to specific patterns. You will generally need to provide the key code, which can be found engraved on an original key or on the security card that was originally supplied with your Union/Chubb 3R35 lock.
