You will need to buy a Euro cylinder separately (either a double cylinder or a thumbturn version). When choosing a cylinder, ensure its length matches your door thickness plus an additional 10mm to accommodate the two 5mm thick escutcheons included with this bolt.

For very thick doors, standard mortice deadlocks often require exceptionally long, bulky keys. By using this Euro cylinder bolt, the cylinder passes through the door, allowing you to use a standard-sized key regardless of the door's thickness.

To install this bolt, you will need the following tools:
