The Squire SS65S Stronghold® is an ultra-high security padlock designed to meet the most demanding commercial and industrial requirements. Constructed with a solid hardened steel body, it is engineered to withstand aggressive physical attacks. This specific model features an extended shackle manufactured from boron alloy steel, making it particularly suitable for use where standard shackles may not reach, such as on thick security chains or recessed locking points.

Integrated into the lock is the EVVA ICS (Internal Coding System) cylinder. This cylinder technology employs a combination of three different locking technologies, including a durable track system and lateral rows of pins, to provide superior protection against manipulation. The ICS key system is fully protected by patents, ensuring that duplicate keys can only be produced through authorised channels with valid identification.

Typical applications include securing perimeter gates, warehouse doors, heavy machinery and high-value equipment. The padlock’s electrophoretic finish provides a high level of corrosion resistance, making it suitable for both internal and external use in exposed or coastal locations.
