MountCam moves a compatible camera away from the wall and keeps its cable route tidy. Short- and long-arm versions support different clearances.

What you need. Fitting and setup.

Before installation

  • The correct MountCam version for the exact camera model. A1/A2 and B1/B2 are not interchangeable across every camera; confirm the manufacturer compatibility table before ordering.
  • Fixings suited to the wall and the combined mount/camera weight, plus a planned cable route and any connection box or adapter specified for that combination.

Fitting and setup

Check the intended view and clearance first. Fix the mount securely, route and protect the camera connections, then fit the compatible camera and adjust its view. Follow the mounting sequence and sealing instructions for the exact combination.

MountCam is a mounting accessory. It does not provide network connectivity, PoE power or recording storage.

Place the injector between the existing network cable and one compatible camera. Connect the network to LAN In and the camera to PoE Out, then supply mains power to the injector. It powers one Ethernet connection and does not provide extra network ports. The normal Ethernet distance limit still applies.
