The post is secured using a Toplock mechanism. A locking rod protrudes through the black polypropylene weather cap at the top of the post. To secure it in the upright position, you simply insert a padlock through the rod. When unlocked, the post can be hinged down to allow vehicle access.

You should use a padlock with a maximum shackle diameter of 9mm. Please keep in mind that the padlock itself is not included and must be purchased separately.

The parking post is built for durability with the following materials:

  • The entire post features a galvanised finish to BS729 standards for rust protection.
  • A black polypropylene weather cap is provided to protect the top of the post.

No, fixing bolts are not included with the post. You will need to provide M16 bolts suitable for your specific ground surface to secure the base plate firmly in place.
