The Avocet 35/92 2 Hook 2 Roller Twin Spindle multipoint lock is a robust security solution designed for use on uPVC and composite doors. This lever-operated mechanism features a latch and deadbolt centre case, providing a secure locking point at the middle of the door, while the auxiliary hooks and rollers provide additional security and weather protection.

This unit is equipped with two opposing hooks that pull into the keeps to resist jemmying and forced separation of the door from the frame. The two roller cams are designed to provide enhanced compression, pulling the door tightly into the weather seals to prevent draughts and improve thermal efficiency.

A key feature of this lock is the twin spindle lifter mechanism. This allows the unit to be used with standard lever-lever handles or lever-pad handles (where the external handle operates the latch only when the key is turned), providing flexibility for different access requirements. The latchbolt is fully reversible, making it suitable for both clockwise and anti-clockwise opening doors without the need for specialist tools.

Commonly used as a direct replacement for failed Avocet mechanisms, this lock is endurance tested to 100,000 operations, ensuring mechanical longevity. It can also be fitted with additional shootbolts at the top and bottom for maximum security on taller door sets.
