The Avocet Affinity Bastion is a high-security multipoint locking system designed specifically for timber and composite door applications. It features a central gearbox with a latch and deadbolt, supplemented by four opposing hooks that provide superior resistance to lifting attacks and structural stress.

A key feature of this mechanism is the twin spindle gearbox (92mm/62mm), which allows for flexible handle configurations. It can be installed as a standard lever/lever system or as a split spindle lever/pad setup to prevent unauthorised external entry without a key. The latch is sprung and fully reversible, ensuring compatibility with various door orientations.

Engineered for durability and security, the system has undergone rigorous testing, achieving compliance with PAS24 and BS EN 1670 Class 5. Typical applications include residential external doors where a high level of security and weather sealing is required. It is suitable for both new door manufacturing and as a direct replacement part for existing Avocet systems.
