When ordering multiple Keyed Alike locks, only 1 set of keys are provided as all additional locks are made to work from that key.
If ordering 4 or more keyed alike locks you can have them set up as different groups. If Required: Let us know the details in the "Specific Key Requirements" field above.
Each group of locks will then receive keys.
The Avocet Twin Spindle Multipoint Door Lock is a robust security solution specifically engineered for uPVC and composite door systems. It combines a central latch and deadbolt with four compression rollers located along the 16mm faceplate to ensure a secure, weather-tight seal and multiple locking points.
This mechanism features a twin spindle gearbox with 92mm and 62mm centres. This configuration offers flexibility in hardware choice, allowing for standard lever/lever operation or a split spindle function. When used with a split spindle handle set, the external lever will not retract the latch without a key, providing an additional layer of perimeter security for residential properties.
Typically used as a high-quality replacement part for existing door systems, the Avocet lock is designed for longevity and smooth operation. The lever-operated system requires the user to lift the handle to engage the rollers and deadbolt before the key is turned to secure the door.
The twin spindle design features two handle positions with 92mm and 62mm centres. This allows you to choose between standard lever/lever operation or a split spindle function. With a split spindle handle, the external lever will not retract the latch without a key, enhancing your home's security.
This multipoint lock provides six secure points of contact:
The Avocet Twin Spindle lock is designed for doors with a 16mm faceplate and is compatible with standard Euro profile cylinders. It is a common replacement part for uPVC and composite doors using a lever-operated system.
To secure the door, lift the handle upwards; this action engages the four rollers and the deadbolt. Once the handle is in the upward position, turn the key to lock the mechanism in place.
