Latch & Deadbolt

The Avocet DLPN353D4RT has a central latch and deadbolt, two additional deadbolts and four roller cams. Avocet calls this a three-deadbolt, four-roller model because its deadbolt count includes the central deadbolt.

The older Pioneer catalogue identifies DLPN353D4RT separately from the shorter DLPNE353DBT model. Their layouts are not interchangeable simply because both have additional deadbolts.

Avocet describes lever/lever and lever/pad applications and a reversible centre latch. Match the required handles and spindle arrangement to the existing installation; these descriptions do not establish key-only outside entry or a universal reversal procedure.

Replacement requires the exact strip layout, centre case, fixing positions and complete keep arrangement. The rollers form part of the door's closing and sealing arrangement, but the condition of the keeps, alignment and seals determines the finished result.
