Marine-grade access with on-door code changes
The BL2600 ECP series is part of the Marine Grade series of mechanical locks. Undergoing a specialist e-plating process that has been salt spray tested to over 1000 hours and having all critical internals made of the highest standard of stainless steel, the unit is designed for continued usage in the harshest conditions. This offers a solution where compliance to the ISPS code is essential and it’s neither convenient or feasible to use a electronic or key driven access control solution.
Separating the Easicode Pro range from the conventional locks is the patented “On the door” code change method. With this, the long and drawn out method of removing tumblers from the back of the keypad is over, cutting down what could be a 10-15 minute job to one that takes only 30 seconds.
With it being cycle tested to 100,000 cycles to show it’s durability, the BL2601 ECP represents the medium tier of small, mechanical keypad locks. This keypad comes with over 4000 potential combinations.
As an added extra, this unit can come with a holdback function as required at no additional cost for situations where the door needs to remain open and unlocked.
This lock comes with a anti-thrust 60mm tubular latch that is fully marine grade and made of durable materials. The unit is supplied with a fixing kit designed to fit on 80mm thick doors and gates by standard.
This lock is suitable for external use on timber and composite doors and gates.
A mortice latch for a door or timber gate
The BL2601 ECP uses a tubular latch recessed into the door edge. Its on-door code-change system makes changing a shared code more convenient when access permissions change. Compare the BL2605 if the construction calls for a surface-mounted rim deadbolt instead of a tubular latch.
