When ordering multiple Keyed Alike locks, only 1 set of keys are provided as all additional locks are made to work from that key.
If ordering 4 or more keyed alike locks you can have them set up as different groups. If Required: Let us know the details in the "Specific Key Requirements" field above.
Each group of locks will then receive keys.
The Union 4L67E is a high-security British Standard rim night latch, formerly known as the Chubb 4L67E. It is engineered for use on inward-opening timber doors and is particularly recommended for glass-panelled doors, as the internal handle can be locked with a key to prevent unauthorised opening following a glass breakage.
Functionally, the lock features a 20mm hardened steel square bolt that provides a slam action and automatically deadlocks whenever the door is closed. This ensures immediate security without requiring manual locking from the outside. The external cylinder utilises a 10-disc Ava mechanism, providing a high level of protection against picking, manipulation, and drill attacks.
Typical applications include residential front doors and commercial entry points where compliance with BS 3621:2007 is required for insurance purposes. It is designed to fit doors with a thickness between 38mm and 57mm and serves as a direct high-security replacement for older rim latch installations.

No unfortunately not, the BS3621 nightlatches can not be reversed. The only way to do this is to install a standard nightlatch from our outward opening nightlatch section and then also install a BS3621 deadlock. This deadlock will give you the insurance rating required.
You need to make sure the lock you fit is NON deadlocking. This means that you can not lock people into the property. There are a few nightlatches designed for these doors. The best is the Yale PBS3 or PBS4 or a more standard model would be the Yale 88 or 84.
The best locks for these would be the a rollerbolt style lock with a masterkeyed cylinder. I would not recommend installing a standard Nightlatch on these doors as the tenants can lock themselves out if they close the door behind them. We can supply these locks for you on a masterkey if you require or keyed differ if you would prefer.
The backset on these locks is the distance from the edge of the door to the center of the Rim Cylinder. This is the large 32mm hole drilled through the door. There are 2 main sizes of these, 60mm or 40mm. Easiest way to find out what you have is to measure from outside of the door from the edge to the center of the keyhole. If you have a solid door you should use the 60mm backset locks, if you have a glass panelled door then you may need to use the 40mm backset. If your current lock is 50mm backset you will need to see our Union locks as only Union made a 50mm backset lock in the past.
There are different levels of security you can have with all locks. The standard locks (i.e. Yale 77, Yale 88) , then the mid level locks which can be key deadlocked from outside ( Yale 89, Union nightlatches). The double locking versions are only suitable for homes with other means of exit as you can lock people inside the house if not careful.
All the extra keys for the locks are cut to the specific locks that have been ordered.
With most locks that are altered to make them keyed alike you will only get 1 x set of keys with them. So if the locks normally come with 2 you will only get 2 keys total and if they come with 3 keys you will only get 3 x keys total when ordered keyed alike.
Yes, the Union 4L67E is tested and certified to BS3621:2007 and carries the BSI Kitemark. This certification means it meets the rigorous security standards often required by home insurance providers and is recommended by the police.
This night latch features a slam-action 20mm hardened steel bolt. When you close the door, the bolt automatically deadlocks, preventing it from being retracted by force or manipulation from the outside, ensuring immediate security.
Yes, this is the exact same high-security lock formerly manufactured under the Chubb brand. While the branding has changed to Union, the lock is manufactured to the same specifications and remains compatible with existing Chubb 4L67E installations.
This lock is designed for timber doors that open inwards and have a thickness between 38mm and 57mm. It is particularly suitable for glass-panelled doors because the internal knob can be locked with a key to prevent unauthorized opening if the glass is broken.

This Union 4L67 extra key is a precision-engineered component designed for the operation of Union 4L67 series rim deadlocks. These locks, often utilised in high-security residential applications, feature a unique cruciform cylinder that requires a specific key profile for engagement.

The key is manufactured to tight tolerances to ensure it aligns perfectly with the internal pins of the 4L67 lock. It is essential for users to verify their lock model number before purchase, as the cruciform design is specific to this range and will not operate standard pin tumbler cylinders.
