This is the most important point to get right so you don't leave your home vulnerable to attack. The best way to get the correct size is to remove the cylinder from the door. (see the help page for instructions to do this). Once you have the cylinder out the door you need to measure from one side of the cylinder to the center of the fixing screw hole and then the same from the other side. Make a note of which is the inside measurement and which is the outside. Once you have this you need to match the size to the sizes available online. You want to get this as exact as possible. The cylinder sizes go up in increments of 5mm.

How to remove and measure your Euro Cylinders

Yes this is possible. We offer the ABUS Pfaffenhain range of padlocks and also we can purchase Euro Cylinder to a Kitemarked level and Rim cylinders which can all be keyed alike or Masterkeyed.

Yes, this is called keyed alike. We build the cylinders for you to match 1 x set of keys. Please note you will only get 1 x set of keys with however many cylinders you order. So if you order 5 x Cylinders keyed alike you will only get 1 x set of keys. We can make you additional keys to match the cylinder at the same time.

Most screw in cylinders are all the same length and thread, you can get extended ones for thicker doors however any of our standard screw in cylinders should suit a standard screw in cylinder lock.

No, these cylinders are just the cylinder only and you must reuse the fixing grub screws from the existing lock.
