When ordering multiple Keyed Alike locks, only 1 set of keys are provided as all additional locks are made to work from that key.

If ordering 4 or more keyed alike locks you can have them set up as different groups. If Required: Let us know the details in the "Specific Key Requirements" field above.

Each group of locks will then receive keys.

  • Public Mode: Ideal for short-term use in gyms or shared workspaces, where the user sets a temporary code to lock and unlock the unit.

The unit is powered by two AAA batteries, providing thousands of operations before replacement is required. It is designed for easy installation on new or existing furniture, fitting standard preparation holes. For administrative security, a 10-digit Master Code allows for emergency access and programming, while external contact points ensure the lock can be powered if the internal batteries fail.

The KL1000 offers two primary operating modes:

The lock is powered by two AAA batteries which provide approximately 15,000 openings. If the batteries fail while the unit is locked, you can hold a 9V battery against the external contact points to provide emergency power and enter your master code to gain access.

The KL1000 supports multiple levels of access to ensure flexible management. You can program one Master Code for administrative control, one Sub-Master Code, one Technician Code, and one User Code for daily operation.
