The Federal D613 Garage Door Bolts provide a robust security solution specifically engineered for up-and-over garage doors. These surface-mounted locks are designed to be bolted through the door skin, allowing the 70mm hardened molybdenum-steel bolt to engage directly with the door frame, effectively preventing the door from being forced or pried open.
Typical applications include residential garages where standard internal locking mechanisms require reinforcement. These bolts are particularly versatile as they can be operated from both the inside and outside, making them suitable for garages that serve as a primary or secondary entrance to a property. The use of a four-sided cruciform key profile offers a significantly higher level of security than standard cylinder locks, providing enhanced protection against manipulation.
Whether used for a new security installation or as a replacement for older, less secure bolts, this system is compatible with various door materials up to 38mm thick. The kit is supplied with all essential components for a complete installation, including coachbolts and escutcheons, ensuring a secure and professional fit to the door structure.

D613KEY ( of Stock)
This replacement key is designed specifically for use with garage door security bolts, providing a reliable solution for users needing additional access or replacement for lost keys. It is manufactured to meet the requirements of standard cruciform locking mechanisms commonly found on high-security garage hardware.
The key is fully compatible with both Asec and Enfield branded garage door bolts. These bolts are typically installed in pairs at the bottom corners of garage doors to provide an extra layer of protection against forced entry. This key ensures that these secondary security measures remain functional and accessible.
Technical precision in the cut of the key allows for smooth engagement with the internal pin configuration of the bolt, reducing wear on the lock cylinder. It is an essential component for maintaining the security of residential or commercial garage units where these specific bolt systems are deployed.
