Door Bars

Door bars are additional security products which screw directly along the frame to add strength against physical attack. These bars come in 2 different styles, the London bar and the Birmingham bar.

The London bar is designed to add strength to the door frame when there is a nightlatch strike plate fitted to the frame. It has a bend in the bar designed to fit the specific brand of nightltatch.

The Birmingham bar is a straight bar designed to add strength to doors that only have mortice locks fitted to them. The bar is screwed directly into the frame which means that if forced the entire frame will need to be split/broken away before the door opens.
