The ERA multipoint locking system is a robust security solution designed for use on modern entrance doors. It features a central gearbox housing both a latch and a deadbolt, supplemented by two small bi-directional hooks positioned along the faceplate. These hooks provide multiple locking points that engage securely with the door frame, significantly increasing resistance against forced entry and improving weather sealing.

This specific model is configured for split spindle operation. This function is particularly effective for residential security, as it prevents the latch from being retracted from the outside without a key, even when the door is unlocked. The reversible latch allows the unit to be fitted to both left and right-handed doors, while the integrated snib facility provides a way to hold the latch back when required.

Typically used as a high-security component in new door manufacturing or as a replacement for existing systems, this lock is designed to be part of a PAS 24 compliant installation. It is intended for use with standard Euro profile cylinders and works within a comprehensive multipoint system to ensure the door remains secure across its entire height.
