The ERA Shootbolt is an essential security component designed for integration with multipoint door locking systems. By providing additional locking points at the very top and bottom of the door frame, these extensions significantly reinforce the door against physical attacks and levering attempts.

Commonly utilised in PVCu, timber, and composite door constructions, these shootbolts are used both in new installations and as replacement parts for maintaining existing security systems. They operate in tandem with the central gearbox, extending into keeps located in the head and threshold of the frame when the locking mechanism is engaged.

This component is specifically engineered to be compatible with ERA's range of multipoint locks, ensuring a reliable fit and smooth mechanical operation. Regular inspection of shootbolt extensions is recommended to ensure they remain clear of debris and function correctly to maintain the door's overall security rating.
