The Era Shootbolt Extension is a technical component designed to enhance the security of external doors. Engineered to integrate with ERA multipoint locking systems, this extension provides additional locking points at the vertical extremities of the door leaf, distributing locking pressure and increasing resistance against forced entry.

This extension piece features a substantial 20mm throw, ensuring deep engagement into the frame-mounted keeps for a secure fit. It is manufactured to maintain consistent performance across residential and commercial applications. The component is designed for use in doors with a standard euro-groove profile, making it a versatile choice for various material types including uPVC and timber.

Typically used when a standard multipoint lock requires extra security coverage, it serves as both a reliable replacement part for existing systems and an essential upgrade for new door sets. The mechanical design ensures smooth operation when used in conjunction with the primary gearbox and locking rail.
