The ERA 806 Window Pressbolt is a versatile security solution designed for use on a wide range of applications, including metal and timber hinged windows, French doors, and cupboards. It provides a robust secondary locking point that is easily engaged by simply pressing the spring-loaded bolt into the locked position.

For enhanced security, the lock features a rotating hardened steel bolt specifically engineered to resist sawing. When the device is locked, the mounting screws are completely covered by the housing, preventing unauthorised removal or tampering. The unit is unlocked using a cut key, making it ideal for restricting access or preventing the use of window handles from the inside.

The pressbolt is supplied with two types of strike components: a steel receiving plate and a ferrule. This allows for flexible fitting to various types of door jambs and window frames, whether surface-mounted or recessed. The unit features a simple press-to-lock action, allowing you to secure the window or door quickly by pressing the spring-bolt without needing a key. To unlock the mechanism and retract the bolt, you must use the included cut key.
