When ordering multiple Keyed Alike locks, only 1 set of keys are provided as all additional locks are made to work from that key.
If ordering 4 or more keyed alike locks you can have them set up as different groups. If Required: Let us know the details in the "Specific Key Requirements" field above.
Each group of locks will then receive keys.
The Federal FD8104-50 is a heavy-duty laminated steel padlock engineered for high-security environments. Constructed with multiple layers of steel, the body is designed to withstand significant physical force and blunt impact, making it an ideal choice for securing site gates, commercial shutters and industrial machinery.
This padlock features a molybdenum steel shackle, which provides enhanced durability and resistance against common attack methods such as sawing or bolt cropping. The inclusion of a dual-ball bearing locking system further increases security by preventing the shackle from being pulled or pried from the lock body.
A key functional advantage of this model is its re-keyable cylinder. This feature allows the lock to be serviced or incorporated into a wider keyed-alike suite within the Federal range, providing flexibility for facility managers and property owners. Whether used as a standalone security measure or as part of a larger locking system, it offers a reliable and robust solution for external and internal use.

Most of the high security padlocks will have a rating, the CEN rating or the Sold Secure. CEN ratings for padlocks start at 2 for medium security padlocks and finish with the highest rating of 6. CEN ratings are given to padlocks that meet certain requirements and are not tested to these ratings by an independent testing facility. Sold Secure ratings are given by Sold Secure after they have tested each product under vigorous conditions, they force, cut, burn, drill, snap...etc and if the product lasts a certain amount of time or a certain level of force it gains the Bronze, Silver or Gold ratings.

The Extra Key for Federal Padlocks is a dedicated mechanical component designed to operate the specific internal mechanisms found within the Federal padlock range. These keys are used as a direct replacement for lost or damaged originals, or as additional units to provide access to multiple authorised users.
As a key-specific product, it is essential that the key is matched to the existing lock's internal bitting requirements. This ensures consistent and reliable operation of the lock cylinder while maintaining the security integrity of the padlock. These keys are commonly used in commercial and domestic settings where Federal padlocks are deployed to secure gates, storage units, and toolboxes.
