When ordering multiple Keyed Alike locks, only 1 set of keys are provided as all additional locks are made to work from that key.
If ordering 4 or more keyed alike locks you can have them set up as different groups. If Required: Let us know the details in the "Specific Key Requirements" field above.
Each group of locks will then receive keys.
The Federal FD8105 is a high-security laminated steel padlock engineered for demanding environments where physical resistance is essential. The body is constructed from multiple layers of steel, riveted together to provide a robust barrier against drilling and blunt force impact. This design makes it a reliable choice for securing commercial premises, industrial site storage and heavy-duty gates.
A primary feature of this padlock is the molybdenum shackle. Molybdenum is a high-strength alloy that offers significantly greater resistance to cutting, shearing and sawing compared to standard hardened steel shackles. This ensures the lock can withstand sophisticated physical attacks in unsupervised areas.
For facility managers and security professionals, the FD8105 offers excellent system flexibility. The lock is re-keyable, meaning the cylinder can be adjusted to match other locks in the Federal range. This allows for keyed-alike configurations where a single key can operate multiple points of entry, simplifying access control without compromising security. Whether used as a standalone security measure or as part of a larger keyed system, this padlock provides a dependable solution for protecting high-value assets.

CEN ratings are given to padlocks that meet certain requirements and are not tested to these ratings by an independent testing facility. Sold Secure ratings are given by Sold Secure after they have tested each product under vigorous conditions, they force, cut, burn, drill, snap...etc and if the product lasts a certain amount of time or a certain level of force it gains the Bronze, Silver or Gold ratings.

The Extra Key for Federal Padlocks is a dedicated mechanical component designed to operate the specific internal mechanisms found within the Federal padlock range. These keys are used as a direct replacement for lost or damaged originals, or as additional units to provide access to multiple authorised users.
As a key-specific product, it is essential that the key is matched to the existing lock's internal bitting requirements. This ensures consistent and reliable operation of the lock cylinder while maintaining the security integrity of the padlock. These keys are commonly used in commercial and domestic settings where Federal padlocks are deployed to secure gates, storage units, and toolboxes.
