When ordering multiple Keyed Alike locks, only 1 set of keys are provided as all additional locks are made to work from that key.

If ordering 4 or more keyed alike locks you can have them set up as different groups. If Required: Let us know the details in the "Specific Key Requirements" field above.

Each group of locks will then receive keys.

Match the exact M6L supplier reference and donor mechanism, not only the FUHR name or 92mm centres. Check the case outline, fixing points, spindle requirements and locking-strip drive. The supplier lists the ball bearing, spring and screw as separately purchased items; confirm the correct parts and supplied-case instructions before fitting.

FAQs

The latch is listed as reversible. Use the instructions for the supplied case and confirm the latch orientation and free operation after fitting. A procedure for another generation must not be assumed to apply.

The supplier lists the ball bearing, spring and screw as separately purchased items: L23670 ball bearing, L23669 spring and L23671 screw. Confirm the correct parts for the exact M6L case; the codes are not a complete fitting or salvage instruction.

The retained backsets are 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 and 65mm, listed with 92mm PZ. Compare the exact case, fixings and drive connections as well as backset; the sizes are not interchangeable.

Only where the replacement case is correctly matched and the remaining strip, drive connections and keeps are serviceable. The M6L case is not a universal replacement for every FUHR locking mechanism.
