Latch & Deadbolt

This 44mm Fullex Crimebeater hook-lock family contains the 35mm and 45mm backset versions. The centre case has a latch and deadbolt; the two additional locking points are hooks, not additional deadbolts.

The manufacturer identifies these as dual-spindle white aluminium strips for matching composite-door preparations. Do not extend the timber-door application of the narrower stainless-steel Crimebeater strip to this wider version without the appropriate assembly specification.

Match the frame-keep form, remote positions and furniture as well as the backset. Dual spindle is not an inline split-spindle conversion, and a similar-looking Crimebeater strip is not automatically a drop-in replacement.

FAQs

Twin/dual spindle means separate spindle positions for the appropriate 92mm or 92/62mm furniture. It is not the same as an inline split spindle. Match the actual handle and spindle arrangement before specifying outside-latch operation.

The two remote hooks engage matching frame keeps; the centre case retains a latch and deadbolt. Correct keep position and door alignment are required for smooth operation.

This 44mm white aluminium strip is listed for matching composite-door preparation. Do not assume the narrower timber/composite Crimebeater versions share the same fit.

Security performance and any certification depend on the complete tested doorset, including its specified lock, keeps, cylinder, furniture and installation. This replacement lock alone does not establish doorset certification or compliance with a particular insurance policy.
