Latch & Deadbolt

This Crimebeater centre-case family retains the 35mm, 45mm and 55mm backset variants. The supplier lists a latch and deadbolt with twin followers at 92mm / 62mm centres. Twin followers are not an inline split-spindle arrangement.

The manufacturer drawing separately identifies CRBCENT0001, CRBCENT0003 and CRBCENT0004. The supplier 35mm and 45mm strings omit a letter, and supplied width descriptions differ from the published case outlines. Confirm the exact delivered case and revision rather than treating those strings or measurements as interchangeable.

A case-only repair requires a compatible strip drive, fixings and serviceable remote mechanisms. Check the full assembly before replacement. No universal timber, composite or uPVC fit, guaranteed case swap or generic latch-reversal procedure is asserted. The 55mm variant is preserved even where a current range page lists fewer options.

Match the exact supplied case reference and generation, backset, twin followers, outline, fixing pattern and strip drive. The 35mm, 45mm and 55mm variants are preserved, but matching backset and 92mm / 62mm centres alone does not establish compatibility with every Crimebeater strip or door.

The supplier lists two follower positions at 92mm and 62mm centres. Match the actual lever/lever or lever/pad furniture and spindle arrangement to the required operation; twin centres alone do not guarantee outside access control or inline split-spindle behaviour.

The supplier lists a reversible latch. Use the instructions for the actual supplied case revision; no generic screw-removal or rotation sequence is asserted while the exact references remain unresolved.

This is a centre-case-only listing. A case-only repair is appropriate only when its drive and fixings match the existing strip and the remaining mechanisms are serviceable. It is not a guaranteed substitute for every Crimebeater full unit.
