The archived manufacturer Type A reference STD0144-C3 has not been established as the same supplied part. Its backset description also differs, so confirm the exact code, measurement datum and case outline before replacement. Later SL16 cases and 68mm furniture are not automatic substitutes.

A case-only repair requires matching drive connections, followers, fixings and a serviceable strip. No universal door-material fit, direct replacement based only on PZ or generic latch-reversal procedure is asserted. Check the supplied instructions and complete spindle/furniture arrangement for the required operation.
