GU 2 Hook 2 Roller Split Spindle Multipoint Lock

The GU Lever Operated Multipoint Lock is a high-security locking system featuring a central latch and deadbolt, supplemented by two hooks and two outboard rollers. This configuration is engineered to provide both physical security and weather protection; the hooks anchor the door leaf into the frame to resist levering, while the rollers pull the door tightly against the seals to prevent draughts and water ingress.

This lock is designed with a split spindle gearbox, offering versatility in how the door is accessed. When installed with a split spindle and compatible furniture, it can provide a nightlatch function where the door remains locked from the outside even when the deadbolt is not engaged, requiring a key for entry. Alternatively, it can be used with a standard solid spindle for traditional lift-lever operation.

Commonly used in both new installations and as a replacement unit for existing GU hardware, this mechanism is compatible with 92mm PZ centres. It is a robust solution for securing external doors while ensuring long-term operational reliability through its multi-point engagement system.
