The GU Lever Operated Multipoint Lock is a robust security mechanism designed for use on UPVC, timber, and composite doors. This system provides multiple engagement points along the door edge, significantly increasing resistance against forced entry and improving the door's weather seal.

At the heart of the unit is a central gearbox featuring a latch and deadbolt. The system is further enhanced by two hardened steel hooks that engage into keeps in the door frame. The split spindle functionality offers flexibility in how the door is operated; when used with compatible handles, it can prevent entry from the outside without a key, even if the door is closed but not fully locked.

This locking mechanism is typically used as a direct replacement for existing GU systems or in new door fabrications. It is compatible with standard Euro profile cylinders and is designed to fit into a 16mm wide faceplate groove. The lever-operated action allows users to easily throw the hooks and deadbolt by lifting the handle before securing the door with a key turn.
