When ordering multiple Keyed Alike locks, only 1 set of keys are provided as all additional locks are made to work from that key.

If ordering 4 or more keyed alike locks you can have them set up as different groups. If Required: Let us know the details in the "Specific Key Requirements" field above.

Each group of locks will then receive keys.

Latch & Deadbolt

These GU latch and deadbolt centre gearboxes are for matching lever-operated multipoint assemblies. The range has a split spindle layout, 92mm centres and 35mm or 45mm backset options.

A gearbox-only repair is appropriate only where the replacement case and drive connections match the existing lock and the remaining strip is serviceable. Inside and outside handle behaviour depends on the matching split spindle and furniture.

FAQs

A gearbox-only repair is appropriate where this centre case matches the original lock and the remaining strip and locking points are serviceable. The case fixings and strip-drive connections must match; otherwise replacing the centre case alone is not a suitable repair.

Match the latch orientation and the rest of the centre case to the existing assembly. Set handing only in accordance with the fitting instructions for the exact gearbox; do not assume a common reversal procedure for every GU case.

These gearboxes have 92mm centres and either a 35mm or 45mm backset. Compare the original reference, case dimensions, fixings, drive connections and split spindle furniture as well.

A matched split spindle and handle set can provide separate inside and outside handle inputs. The resulting entry behaviour depends on the complete furniture and lock configuration, not on the gearbox alone.
