The ILS FDM004 is a round-headed bullet lock engineered for the security of roller shutters and industrial door systems. It operates via a split pin mechanism located behind the cylinder barrel; when the key is rotated, the pin moves to allow the bullet to be securely locked into or withdrawn from its dedicated housing.
This locking solution is particularly suited for commercial premises where multiple entry points require securing. Being keyed alike, this model allows site managers to operate several shutters using one key, significantly improving operational efficiency and reducing the need for large key sets. For enhanced security protocols, the key is only removable when the cylinder is in the locked position, ensuring the shutter cannot be left inadvertently unsecured.
Typical applications include retail shop fronts, warehouse loading bays, and security grilles. These locks are commonly used as direct replacements for existing hardware or as part of a new security installation. They are designed to fit standard industry housings, providing a reliable and proven method of locking rolling doors from the side tracks.
