The Ingenious 1007 Lever Operated Latch & Hookbolt is a high-security multipoint locking system engineered for residential external doors. This full-unit mechanism features two robust hookbolts that engage with the frame to provide multiple locking points, significantly increasing resistance against forced entry while ensuring a tight weather seal.

Functionally, the unit is operated by lifting the lever to engage the hooks and latch, followed by a turn of a euro profile cylinder to deadbolt the system. It features a twin spindle design, offering flexibility for different handle configurations. The inclusion of a reversible latch means the lock is suitable for both left and right-handed doors, while the integrated holdback function and anti-manipulation plate provide practical convenience and enhanced security respectively.

This lock is typically used in new door sets or as a like-for-like replacement in existing PVCu, timber, or composite doors. It has been rigorously tested to BS EN 1670 Grade 5, making it highly resistant to corrosion, and is compliant with PAS 24 and BS 6375-2 standards for peace of mind and long-term reliability.
