The Ingenious 1009 Lever Operated Multipoint Lock is a high-security locking system designed for external doors. This full unit features four hooks arranged in two bi-directional duplex units, ensuring a robust grip on the door frame to resist forced entry. The system is operated by lifting the handle lever to engage the hooks and turning a euro profile cylinder to lock the mechanism in place.

This lock is equipped with a twin spindle centre case, offering flexibility for different handle configurations. It includes a reversible latch, allowing it to be used on both left and right-handed doors without the need for additional parts. A holdback function is also integrated for convenience during daytime use.

Typical applications include new door installations or as a direct replacement for existing Ingenious systems. It is engineered to meet rigorous security standards, including PAS 24 and Secured by Design specifications. The unit is further enhanced by an anti-manipulation plate and has been extensively tested for corrosion resistance to BS EN 1670 Grade 5, making it suitable for challenging environments.
