Yes, the Ingenious Duplex gearbox features a fully reversible latch. To change the handing for a left or right-handed door, simply remove the internal screw, flip the latch head to the required orientation, and then re-secure the screw.

This gearbox is designed with unsprung followers, meaning the lock itself does not provide the tension to return the handle to its horizontal position. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use this unit with sprung door handles.

To secure the door, lift the handle lever upwards to engage the centre hookbolt and any connected multi-point locking components. Once the lever is lifted, turn your Euro cylinder key or thumbturn one full rotation to deadlock the system.
