The 5031's inside code-change arrangement

The UK Simplex guide distinguishes 5031 by its interior combination-change arrangement. That is the useful comparison with 5021, rather than assuming all 5000-series lever locks have the same change control. Both are mechanical formats, not battery-powered E-Plex locks.

Fitting and setup

  • Measure the door thickness, backset and existing fixing positions against the exact model drawing.
  • Set the new code and test the outside control, inside operation and latch engagement with the door open before closing it.
