When ordering multiple Keyed Alike locks, only 1 set of keys are provided as all additional locks are made to work from that key.

If ordering 4 or more keyed alike locks you can have them set up as different groups. If Required: Let us know the details in the "Specific Key Requirements" field above.

Each group of locks will then receive keys.

Latch & Deadbolt

The KFV 8250 multipoint lock has a central latch and deadbolt with four rollers. The retained versions have 35mm and 45mm backset options, 92mm PZ centres and a 16mm flat faceplate.

Operation: the cylinder key drives the deadbolt and roller locking mechanism; lifting a handle is not the locking action. Use the applicable key-wind sequence to lock and unlock, with a further key movement for outside latch withdrawal. The latch is not another bolt that is thrown into the frame by the locking turn.

Replacement fit: match the exact lock reference and generation, backset, 92mm PZ centres, faceplate shape, case routing, locking-point positions and profile-specific frame keeps. Matching the KFV brand or PZ centres alone does not establish a direct replacement. Gearbox-only repairs also need matching fixing positions and drive connections; early riveted and later screw-fixed cases are not automatically interchangeable.

The four rollers engage the matching frame keeps to provide closing compression. Correct roller/keep adjustment and door alignment are needed for sealing performance. Rollers do not guarantee the elimination of draughts, prevent door warping or establish a thermal or acoustic rating for an unrelated doorset.

This multipoint lock is designed to be used with a standard Euro profile cylinder. Because the lock relies on the cylinder to drive the locking mechanism, we recommend using a high-quality cylinder to ensure the smoothest operation of the key-wind system.
