The KFV Lever Operated Latch & Deadbolt Gearbox is a high-quality replacement centre case designed for KFV multipoint locking systems. This gearbox is available in 35mm or 45mm backset variants, providing flexibility for different door profiles. It features a standard 92mm centre and a single spindle, making it compatible with most euro profile lock setups.

This unit is specifically engineered for lift-lever operation. To lock the door, lift the handle to engage the remote locking points and then perform one full turn of the cylinder. Unlocking is just as simple: use the key for a full turn, then push the lever down to release the mechanism.

The gearbox includes a reversible latch, allowing it to be used on both left and right-handed doors. The reversal process is straightforward, requiring only the removal of a side screw to flip the latch. With a durable construction and a case height of 210mm, it serves as a reliable core for your door security system.

This replacement gearbox is available in two common backset options: 35mm or 45mm. To choose the correct version, measure the distance from the edge of the lock's faceplate to the centre of the keyhole on your existing unit.

The latch is fully reversible to accommodate any door orientation. You can change the direction by simply removing the screw located on the side of the gearbox, flipping the latch over, and then re-securing the screw.

This is a lift-lever operated gearbox. To lock the door, you must lift the handle upwards to engage the remote locking points on your door strip, then use the key to turn the cylinder and throw the deadbolt. To unlock, turn the key and push the handle down to release the mechanism.

While this unit is designed as a standard replacement for KFV systems with 92mm centres, there is a minor compatibility note for older models. Modern gearboxes typically use screws for faceplate attachment, whereas very old versions might use different rivet spacings. It is recommended to check your existing mounting points before installation.
