When ordering multiple Keyed Alike locks, only 1 set of keys are provided as all additional locks are made to work from that key.

If ordering 4 or more keyed alike locks you can have them set up as different groups. If Required: Let us know the details in the "Specific Key Requirements" field above.

Each group of locks will then receive keys.

Latch & Hookbolt

The Lockmaster 21 Single Spindle Latch & Hook Gearbox is a replacement centre case, offered as YLSP2135HK-BX with 35mm backset or YLSP2145HK-BX with 45mm backset.

A shared backset or 92mm centres does not establish a replacement match. Compare the existing case reference, fixing positions, drive connections, latch and hook layout, and handle arrangement. Do not substitute it for an older Lockmaster deadbolt case or a twin-follower case without confirmation for the particular lock.

Use the fitting and operating instructions for the supplied case and complete mechanism. Latch handing and the locking sequence must be checked for that assembly; this is not a spindle-conversion kit.

FAQs

The latch is listed as reversible, but use the instructions for the supplied YLSP2135HK-BX or YLSP2145HK-BX case. Confirm the required latch orientation and do not assume the whole lock or its furniture becomes non-handed.

35mm and 45mm backset versions are listed, both with 92mm centres. These measurements are identification checks, not proof that an existing handle set or locking strip is compatible.

This is a single-follower, lever-operated repair case. Follow the operating instructions for the complete matched lock and furniture. Do not treat the spring latch as a handle-thrown locking point or rely on a fixed number of key turns from a different case.

Galvanised mild steel is the listed material. Material alone does not establish a replacement match, service life or the security rating of the assembled door; compare the exact case and its connections.
