When ordering multiple Keyed Alike locks, only 1 set of keys are provided as all additional locks are made to work from that key.

If ordering 4 or more keyed alike locks you can have them set up as different groups. If Required: Let us know the details in the "Specific Key Requirements" field above.

Each group of locks will then receive keys.

Latch & Deadbolt

The Lockmaster PAD85000 combines two outer hooks with a centre latch and deadbolt. Its U-rail faceplate makes the rail shape an important replacement check; a flat-faceplate Lockmaster is not a substitute merely because the backset agrees.

Match the complete reference, follower positions, case, fixings and hook locations to the original door. Twin-spindle does not by itself establish split-spindle operation, key-only outside access or keyless escape from a deadlocked door. Use the operating instructions for the fitted lock and furniture.

FAQs

The twin-spindle arrangement provides two follower positions for matching door furniture. It does not by itself prove that a split spindle can be fitted or that the inside handle will open a deadlocked door without a key.

The two outer hooks engage matching frame keeps. Their effectiveness depends on correct alignment and the complete door construction; they are not a guarantee against forced entry.

Match the handle centres to the follower used on each side, as well as the spindle, fixing positions and springing. The listed 92/62 arrangement does not make every lever/lever or lever/pad set compatible.

A correctly fitted lock works with the door's keeps and seals. Replacing it does not necessarily cure draughts, a bowed sash or worn weather seals.
