The MACO C-TS Combined has a central latch and deadbolt with two hooks. The retained articles are 242351 (35mm) and 242353 (45mm), both listed with 92mm PZ centres, an 8mm follower, a 16mm faceplate and 2200mm length.
Operation: the C-TS Combined case uses a matched spindle pack to provide lever/lever or split-spindle operation. The handle drives the locking mechanism, including the central deadbolt; the key secures the engaged mechanism. The correct spindle pack and furniture determine whether the outside handle can retract the latch.
MACO specifies the spindle pack for the required operating arrangement. In the documented split-spindle arrangement the inside spindle retracts the latch, while the outside spindle operates the multipoint mechanism without retracting the latch. Confirm the actual supplied pack, door thickness, furniture and fixings; an arbitrary split spindle is not equivalent.
Replacement fit: match the exact article and generation, backset, PZ centres, follower, faceplate profile, case routing, fixing holes, locking-point positions, drive connections and profile-specific keeps. Common MACO branding or 92mm PZ centres alone do not establish compatibility.
Security and corrosion claims must match the exact tested hardware and complete doorset specification. A historical range brochure does not make every replacement installation PAS 24 compliant or confer independent doorset certification on a loose lock or extension.
