The original and old-style copy are distinct options. Match the case outline, attachment points, latch arrangement and drive connection before fitting. Backset and PZ alone do not establish compatibility.

FAQs

Check the complete case outline, attachment points, drive connection, backset and PZ. Match the exact original or copy option to the existing lock.

Match the latch arrangement to the exact centre case and use its supplied handing instructions. Check free latch movement after fitting.

A centre-case replacement is suitable only where the exact case is compatible and the remaining locking strip and keeps are serviceable.

Use the operating instructions for the complete lock assembly fitted to the door. The original and old-style copy options must be correctly matched before use.
