The McGrath Ashgrove Smart Deadbolt Lock is a versatile keyless access solution designed for residential and light commercial applications. Combining a secure deadbolt mechanism with a tactile raised-button keypad, it offers convenient everyday operation while supporting a wide range of modern access methods.
The Ashgrove can be easily configured and managed using the McGrath Smart Locks App, allowing administrators to control lock functions, issue access credentials and monitor activity. The lock supports Bluetooth operation as standard and also features built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing remote management without the need for an additional gateway or bridge. Users can unlock the door, issue or revoke digital keys and monitor access from virtually anywhere.
A range of intelligent security features help protect both the property and the lock itself. Passage Mode allows the door to remain unlocked when required, while the anti-peep code function enables users to enter random digits before or after their PIN to prevent code observation. An incorrect attempt lockout provides additional protection against unauthorised access attempts, and an internal privacy switch can disable all external access methods except the administrator credentials and mechanical override key. For enhanced security, the reset button can also be disabled through the App.
Flexible access options make the Ashgrove suitable for homes, offices, holiday lets and managed properties. Access can be granted using Bluetooth eKeys, PIN codes, RFID cards or tags, or the traditional mechanical key override featuring a rekeyable PD cylinder. Digital eKeys can be issued as permanent, timed, recurring or one-time credentials, making it easy to manage family members, staff or temporary visitors.
The accompanying App includes a comprehensive audit trail, allowing administrators to see who has accessed the lock and when. A supplied door sensor also enables optional door-open monitoring for additional awareness and security.
Designed for long-term reliability, the Ashgrove features a durable tempered glass touchscreen and is supplied with an anti-saw 304 stainless steel adjustable backset deadbolt. Independently tested to 300,000 operating cycles (Grade 1), it is engineered to withstand demanding everyday use while maintaining smooth operation.
Power is provided by four AA alkaline batteries, with low battery alerts delivered both through the App and audibly at the lock itself. In the event the batteries become depleted, a convenient USB-C emergency power port allows temporary operation using a standard power bank, ensuring access can always be restored when required.
