The Igloohome Smart Padlock 2 (SP2) is a heavy-duty smart padlock designed to provide secure, flexible access control without the limitations of traditional keys. Ideal for gates, storage units, sheds, lockers, plant equipment and remote assets, it combines a robust physical design with intelligent access management through the igloohome App.
The padlock supports two convenient access methods: Bluetooth digital keys and offline PIN code technology. Using igloohome's patented algoPIN system, time-sensitive PIN codes can be generated and shared with users, even when the padlock itself has no internet connection. One-time, recurring, permanent and duration-based PIN codes can all be created, making the SP2 ideal for shared facilities, contractors, holiday accommodation and managed access applications.
Built for demanding environments, the Padlock 2 has been engineered to withstand harsh weather and heavy use. It has been tested against multiple military-grade reliability standards, including resistance to rain, impact, temperature extremes, humidity and salt fog. The hardened steel shackle and reinforced body provide excellent resistance to cutting, pulling and twisting attacks, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor security applications.
Power is supplied by an integrated rechargeable lithium battery, providing long operating life between charges. If the battery becomes depleted, the padlock can be temporarily powered using the integrated USB-C emergency jumpstart feature, ensuring access is never permanently lost. An optional igloohome Wi-Fi Bridge can also be added to enable remote unlocking, activity notifications and cloud-based management.
