Millenco Mantis 2 Lever Operated Twin Spindle Multipoint Lock

The Millenco Mantis 2 is a high-performance multipoint locking system designed primarily for uPVC and composite external doors. This lever-operated mechanism combines latch, hook, and bolt security to provide a robust defence against forced entry while ensuring a weather-tight seal when the door is closed.

Featuring a twin spindle mechanism with 95mm and 65mm centres, this lock offers flexibility in handle operation. It is commonly configured to provide a split-spindle function, which prevents unauthorised entry from the outside even if the door is shut but unlocked. The 35mm backset makes it a standard specification for many domestic door profiles.

The system is equipped with two hooks, two bolts, and two roller cams. These components work in unison to secure the door at multiple points along the frame. The roller cams are adjustable, allowing for precise tensioning of the door against its seals to eliminate draughts and improve thermal efficiency. The 16mm stainless steel faceplate ensures long-lasting durability and resistance to environmental wear.

Typically used as a direct replacement for existing Mantis units or in new door assemblies, it is compatible with 95mm sprung handles and standard Euro cylinders. This lock is an essential component for maintaining the security and functional integrity of residential entrance doors.
