When ordering multiple Keyed Alike locks, only 1 set of keys are provided as all additional locks are made to work from that key.
If ordering 4 or more keyed alike locks you can have them set up as different groups. If Required: Let us know the details in the "Specific Key Requirements" field above.
Each group of locks will then receive keys.
The PJB Oval Bullet Lock is a robust security solution specifically engineered for the protection of roller shutters, industrial doors, and commercial premises. This lock functions by inserting the cylindrical bullet into a dedicated housing welded to the shutter guide, effectively pinning the door in the closed position and preventing unauthorised lifting.
Featuring a sprung locking pin on the top of the cylinder barrel, the mechanism is operated by a turn of the key. This action depresses the pin, allowing the bullet to be either inserted into or withdrawn from its housing. Once the key is returned to the locked position and removed, the pin extends to secure the unit firmly in place.
For enhanced operational security, the key is designed to be removable in the locked position only. This provides a visual and physical guarantee that the shutter is securely locked before the operator leaves the site. These locks are commonly used as direct replacements for worn units or as part of a new security upgrade for shop fronts and warehouse entrances.
The cylinder has an oval profile measuring 22mm by 15mm. The locking pin length is 56mm, contributing to an overall unit length of 88mm.
This bullet lock operates using a sprung locking pin located on top of the cylinder barrel. When you turn the key, this pin is depressed, allowing the bullet to be either inserted into or withdrawn from its housing.
No, for security purposes, the key is designed to be removable only when the lock is in the locked position.
Each PJB Oval Bullet Lock is supplied with two keys as standard.

The PJB Oval Bullet Lock Housing is a heavy-duty security component designed to provide a permanent and secure receiving point for oval-profile bullet locks. This housing is a critical element of shutter security, acting as the fixed socket that retains the locking pin to prevent unauthorised movement of the door or gate.
Typical applications include roller shutter doors, sliding gates, and commercial units where high-level physical security is required. It is frequently used in both new installations and as a replacement for damaged or worn housings on existing security systems. The housing is designed to be welded directly onto the shutter guide rail or bolted to a secure frame, ensuring a rigid and tamper-resistant connection.
The internal aperture is specifically profiled to match the dimensions of oval-headed locks, ensuring a precise fit that minimises play and increases resistance to prying. Its solid design helps to shield the lock from environmental factors and provides a high level of durability in heavy-use environments.

This extra key is engineered specifically for use with the PJB bullet lock range, which is widely used in commercial and industrial security. These keys are precision-manufactured to match the internal pin profile of the cylinder, ensuring a reliable interface with the locking mechanism and preventing the sticking or jamming often associated with generic blanks.
Typical applications include roller shutters, site gates, and warehouse doors where bullet locks provide a robust secondary security layer. These keys are essential for organisations requiring additional spares for new staff or as a direct replacement for misplaced keys. Because bullet locks are often exposed to the elements, using a correctly specified key ensures the longevity of the lock's internal components through accurate mechanical engagement.
