When ordering multiple Keyed Alike locks, only 1 set of keys are provided as all additional locks are made to work from that key.
If ordering 4 or more keyed alike locks you can have them set up as different groups. If Required: Let us know the details in the "Specific Key Requirements" field above.
Each group of locks will then receive keys.
The Roto 35/92 Gearbox is a precision-engineered center case designed for multipoint door locks. It features a standard 35mm backset and 92mm centres, making it an ideal replacement part for worn or damaged gearboxes in existing Roto lock systems.
This single spindle unit includes both a latch and deadbolt for secure locking. It is designed for Lift Lever (Type A) operation: simply lift the handle to engage the locking mechanisms and turn the cylinder once to secure. To unlock, turn the key and push down on the lever.
Handing Information: The latch is fully reversible. To change the handing, insert an Allen key above the latch on the faceplate, push the locking pin upwards, flip the latch, and ensure it clicks back into place upon refitting.
You should measure two key dimensions on your current lock: the backset and the centers. This Roto gearbox features a 35mm backset (the distance from the front of the faceplate to the center of the spindle) and 92mm centers (the distance between the center of the spindle and the center of the keyhole). Additionally, verify that your existing case height is approximately 212mm.
Yes, the latch is fully reversible to suit any door handing. To reverse it, you insert an Allen key into the hole located above the latch on the faceplate, push the internal locking pin upwards, and then flip the latch over. Make sure the latch clicks securely back into place after flipping.
This is a single spindle gearbox designed for Lift Lever (Type A) operation. To lock the door, you must lift the handle upwards to engage the locking points, then turn the key cylinder to secure the deadbolt. To unlock, turn the key and simply push the handle down.
No, this product is the center gearbox only. It is intended as a replacement part for when the internal mechanism of your lock fails, allowing you to replace just the central case rather than the entire full-length multipoint lock assembly.
