These locks are for use with a bathroom turn only! NO KEYS ARE SUPPLIED WITH THIS LOCK!

Deadbolt is locked or unlocked by turn from the inside. Reversible latchbolt withdrawn by knob from either side.

No keys are used to operate bathroom locks. Bolt is thrown and withdrawn by use of 5mm spindle which requires an additonal turn knob.

Pierced to accept bolt through furniture.

Case Finish : Enamelled Silver
Forend Finish : Brass or Satin Chrome

Please measure existing lockcase carefully to assess if you have the 127mm or 152mm size. Important to measure before ordering to ensure the positions of the key hole and spindle follower.

No, the Union 2026 is a dedicated bathroom lock and does not use keys. The deadbolt is operated by a 5mm spindle connected to a bathroom thumb-turn from the inside, while the latch is operated by door knobs from either side.

You should carefully measure the total depth of your existing lock case from the front edge of the forend to the very back of the case. This model is available in two specific sizes to ensure the spindle and turn-knob positions align correctly:

  • 127mm depth
  • 152mm depth

Yes. The latchbolt on this horizontal lock is fully reversible, making it suitable for both left-handed and right-handed opening doors. You can easily adjust the orientation of the latch during installation.

This lock is designed for use with door knobs and a separate bathroom thumb-turn set. It features an 8mm follower for the latch (handles) and a 5mm follower for the deadbolt (turn-snib). The case is also pierced to accept bolt-through furniture fixings for a more secure handle attachment.
