This lock is designed to work with standard door hardware. It features an 8mm follower for your lever handles and a 5mm follower for the bathroom thumbturn and emergency release spindle.

Yes, the Union 2294 features a reversible latchbolt. This allows you to easily adjust the orientation of the latch during installation to suit doors that open either to the left or the right.

The case size measurement refers to the total depth of the lock body. The 64mm case is typically used for standard internal doors, while the 76mm case is used when you want to set the handles and thumbturn further back from the door edge.

This lock provides privacy through a dual-action system:

  • The latchbolt is operated by lever handles from both sides of the door for general closing.
  • The deadbolt is thrown or retracted by a thumbturn from the inside to provide privacy locking.
